DIGITAL2018: Mega Event with VIPs for Clients

The countdown is on: DIGITAL2018 is nearly here – so it’s the perfect time to learn a bit more about the concept behind DIGITAL2018 with patron Hagen Rickmann.

#digital2018 – Telekom as the Initiator

Digitalisation takes courage and now is the time to get moving. With Deutsche Telekom as the initiator for DIGITAL2018, it’s off to a good start. Hagen Rickmann, managing director for corporate clients at Telekom Germany and patron of DIGITAL2018, is looking forward to two days of pure digitalisation. Find out here about what’s got Hagen Rickmann interested at DIGITAL2018:

Life is for sharing

“No one can get involved in digitalisation and fully grasp it all on their own,” says Hagen Rickmann. “This is why we talk to partners, exchange ideas across industries and network with those who are like-minded as well as those who think differently. We believe in the power of shared knowledge and we will see the concept of sharing reach its full potential at DIGITAL2018. The stage programme with digital experts and the exhibits by our partners featuring fascinating innovations are both ideal starting points for a lively and inspiring exchange.”

Aren’t we all start-ups?

“Digitalisation comes from looking at the world with fresh eyes,” explains Hagen Rickmann. “Unbiased and open – that’s what we want to offer visitors to DIGITAL2018: stimulating a change of perspective to wake up or strengthen their start-up spirit. DIGITAL2018 inspires digitalisation – on the four stages, in start-up square, at the exhibits, in networking.”

Making digitalisation easy

Digitalisation is a mega-task, according to Hagen Rickmann. “It’s as complex as building a theme park out of a mountain of Lego bricks. There isn’t just one way to do it, but many. That’s also what we want to help medium-sized businesses understand. We will be presenting our flagship projects at DIGITAL2018. They should courage them and give them some ideas. We want to bring Germany, its economy and its state of digitalisation further to the fore.”
